November 10, 2025, The hot tub finally arrives.  Pretty scary watching them hoist it over the house.

September 16, 2025, I have not posted much since my last post, mainly because we are still trying to get everything in order.  However, today they installed our new front door so I thought I would post a few pictures.  It really changes the look of the place.  Our furniture will start to be delivered later this month and I will post some more pictures of the final project.  One of my goals is to do a side by side comparison of the home to show the changes we made.  I will send an email to family and friends to let you know when I start that.  Or, you can go to the link titled "renovation before and after pictures" and check it out.

August 25, 2025, Some pictures from move in day.  Still unpacking but hopefully by the weekend I can post some pictures with things more organized.

Ok, so it is August 20, 2025.  Seems like this renovation has been going on forever.  So, I thought I would provide an update.  We have a moving company scheduled for next Tuesday.  Im not 100% convinced they are ready but I am going with it.  Painting starts tomorrow so that is a good sign.  I took a couple of pictures that highlight the major changes.  Note the back Stacking Door!  Been waiting for this for 3 months.  It is worth the wait.  Next week I will show you what it looks like completed but not moved into yet.  Then, I will show you the final product.

August 8, 2025, we have not posted in a while because the house has been a mess.  It still is, but the cabinets are installed AND the counter tops are in the kitchen and laundry room.  I thought it was worth sharing.  hopefully, more progress is on the way.  BTW, the appliances arrived this week so looking forward to getting them installed.

July 16, 2025, have not posted for a while.  There is work going on but nothing that really shows up in pictures.  Baseboard and trim is completed.  Tile in the master bath is finished (I have a picture for that).  Anyway, just wanted to share.  I am really pleased with the new back door in the kitchen.  Replaces as sliding door.  We needed to close the wall to make room for the dry bar.  Need a place for our refreshments when you come to visit.  Next week the rest of the kitchen cabinets will be delivered and installed.

This is our atrium.  Remember, we were going to get rid of this.  Now Im not sure what we will put in it.  I hope all my herbs but Im not sure I have the final say.  Still needs to be spakled to make it smooth but it is looking better.

June 29, 2025, This week there was a lot of action at the house.  Hardwood floors were installed, drywall work has started and the bathroom tile was completed.  Not any pictures to show because the hardwood was covered as soon as it was completed.  This coming week should show much more progress.  We are travelling to WI on July 3 so I wont post until we get home but there should be alot to show then.  In the mean time I thought I would share some pictures of the outside area at night.  Enjoy.

June 20, 2025, Finished the backyard.  Cant wait to see it in the dark.  Will post them as soon as I can stay up until it gets dark.

June 19, 2025, more work on the backyard today.  They tiled the fire feature.  We thought they would stucco it today but didnt even know there would be tile on the top.  We like it.  They stucco tomorrow and finish up the planting area by adding rocks.  Saturday they install the green grass.  Coming together well.  Very pleased.  Cant wait to show you a picture of the backyard completed, at night, with all the lighting.

June 18, 2025, Today they installed the travertine tiles in the back of the house.  Looks great.  We also removed the sliding glass door in the kitchen.  We are making the opening smaller as you can see.  Tomorrow they will stucco the fire feature and then this weekend they will install the grass.

June 17, 2025, finally installed the header in the kitchen so we can remove the kitchen wall.  To be replaced with an Island.  They start putting bathroom cabinets in tomorrow so stay tuned!

June 15, 2025, Lots of work was done this weekend.  The landscapers started to build the fire feature, and the HVAC folks installed the HVAC on the roof.  This was required because we raised the ceiling in the home and needed to relocate all the duct work.

June 7, 2025 Big day at the house.  Removed the back slider and poured cement to level the living room.
